Community Acupressure Clinic March 21, April 18 (3rd Wed. of the month), 6 – 9 pm
The clinic is held in the Connie Barbour Room of the Berkeley Fellowship of Unitarian Universalists, at Bonita by Cedar. The Connie Barbour Room is in the Education Building, through the double gates at 1606 Bonita and on the second floor.
Practitioners provide both active and quiet styles of Acupressure sessions such as Tui Na (Meridian Massage), Jin Shin (Gentle Touch), Craniosacral Therapy and Shiatsu. Clinic sessions are given in a setting with multiple practitioners/receivers in the healing space.
Acupressure is an ancient healing art that promotes wellness, helps relieve stress and tension, facilitates the body’s natural healing processes, and brings mind, body, and spirit to balance. While it addresses common complaints that we typically associate with Western massage such as neck/shoulder/back pain, it can also help with internal issues like improving digestion, strengthening the immune system, and creating ease in the menstrual cycle. Acupressure is quite profound as well in facilitating emotional balance, clarity and vision, and alignment with our values and our true path.
